Question Kiosk or MDM

Does anybody know of any free MDM or kiosk software which I can use to lock my parents phone down to one app and stop them accidentally hitting other items.

I've just tested pinning an app on my P8 but not sure if there are any other options and needs to work on a Xioami red note 9.

Have you tried a kid-friendly launcher like Kids Place? https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.kiddoware.kidsplace&hl=en_US&gl=US. This kind of launcher is also a reasonable solution for elderly or otherwise tech-challenged users in that it can lock out other apps or menus (and the user interface doesn't necessarily have to look all kid-like).

Ah ok hadn't seen that. Just playing with manageengine MDM which seems to work but seems overkill, although it does allow me remote access
