That COULD be very good news as long as it only makes things better and doesn't mess up anything that's already good.

I agree with you 100%. My phone is great right now with no problems. I do not want to get an update and then have a lot of problems. I would rather stay with 4.3 then to have problems with 4.4.

I will not update until I see what happens to everyone else. I will stay on the sidelines with MY AWESOME PHONE. It works great and I do not want anything that could make my experience less than satisfactory.

That's Samsung... After that it's the wait with the carriers... That takes months lol.

About the only thing I want on the 4.4 is the "OK Google" function. I tried the Beta app someone has on the Play store but it failed big time.

We will be lucky to get it in the next 4-6 months with Verizon as our carrier.

"Speaking of Android versions, we?ve been getting a few questions about KitKat and have details on that front for the Note 3. Yesterday*reports confirmed*the Galaxy Note 3 will be getting upgraded to Android 4.4 extremely soon, and that the update is actually already in the testing phase. Meaning Verizon, AT&T, and other carriers could soon be ready to roll that out to users."

I'm fine with waiting. My N7 is here if I have to have cutting edge

Given how quickly HTC plans to roll out 4.4 I don't think Samsung will allow them to claim "first" or be too far ahead of the update race. Given that the S4 GPE will be updated to 4.4 fairly soon Samsung has had access to 4.4 for a while and if they can finish their testing before EOY then we could see it in Feb. time frame on Verizon given their 6-8 week testing cycle barring any issues which there always is.
