Just got kitkat. When I go to the phone instead of the old web page which worked just fine I get a page listing the last few calls it thinks I have made andi then I have to go to the menu to get to where I wanted to go in the first place. What genius thought this was a good idea? Please get someone to fix.

I'm trying to understand your poorly written complaint. My best guess is that you're not happy about how you have to tap to get to the dialer.

This is an intentional design decision made by Google to prefer showing your contacts. Further, Google now performs online searches for businesses and restaurants.

Do you seriously still type in phone numbers when calling friends and etc? If so, you're definitely in the minority.

I really like how Google completely redesigned the phone app. It took a bit to get used to it because it was so different, but I like it. I guess it comes down to personal opinion.
