I got a insignia NS-15AT07 7 inch openbox tablet form bestbuy for 60 bucks with chitchat 4.4.2. Not sure what .4 difference is. Anyhow it works fine for my needs nothing fancy.
But the bluetooth is all wonky. I got an mi band from amazon. Thing that tracks steps and sleep. It was fine but now its not. I have a mac mini and I got the mini bluetooth keyboard the one that like 75 bucks. Not min but smaller than a full keyboard in my opinion.
The keybopard synced fine. But if I turn off bluetooth and back on the devices don't stay synced. I even left bluetooth one one night and the next morning the keyboard disappeared and I had to re add it. The mi band syncs but it no longer shows under bluetooth anymore either. I got the error message too many devices near by. Then I clicked on show bands and click the first one and it synced. It showed MI in the bluetooth and I was able to sync it. Then I removed the MI FIT app and reinstalled it and it worked. Now I can sync.
But in the morning it still synced. However I noticed that MI was no longer in the bluetooth list in the settings. Weird it still syncs but it is no longer showing up in bluetooth settings.
Its too late to return. I never noticed this before. Got it on march 12th. Is this a bad tablet or a bug in kitkat?
