I have a ATT note 2, upgraded to the 4.3, the phone restarted and gets to the boot logo, that is it. I can use the volume down, home and power button to flash the phone, but can't get into recovery mode. I tried the clockwork recovery, but maybe didn't have the version that was compatible with Knox (just guessing here). Does anyone have the latest version of cm recovery that is compatible and how can I get around the KNOX warranty void 1 issue and get back to having my phone boot?

As always, thanks!!!

AS far as I know, there is no wiping the Knox counter. Even XDA is having problems with that. However, as far as I know, you should be able to reflash the stock 4.3 ROM and that should get you up and running again.

I too have been looking for the stock 4.3 for the SGH-I317 but so far is not even available at sammobile.com
My weather files and some others got corrupted and I can't use them.
My backup has the same corrupted files.
As far as the Knox warranty void, that is a done deal and even Samsung insists is permanent. No way to undo for now.

And whatever you do, don't downgrade to anything earlier than 4.3 it will prevent future updates. I rooted my phone and installed cwm using the cf auto root from xda. It installs super su and stock recovery. Not sure if it will restore your os, but if you have nothing to loose, you can try it.

Thanks for the advice!!! I guess I'll have to wait for Samsung to send out the 4.3 update in a psychical file. I want to say this site is fantastic. Its awesome how everyone pitches in to help out. Thanks again!

I read somewhere that if you are lucky to have a best buy with Samsung experience store inside and ask them nicely, they can re flash your phone. They have Samsung s.m.a.r.t. tool to re flash most phones back to stock. You can try researching that. Some people tell them straight out that they rooted their phone and bb employees did re flash their phone. Some did refuse to do it tho. So it is just luck, they did it with the S4 after soft bricking it. They said if you can get it to the yellow flag where Kies/phone tell you to do emergency recovery. They said it can get the phone there with Kies or if you take it to them already on download mode.

Some people blame Kies others are honest about it. It just depends on how you talk to them and their willingness to help you. Try different stores, tell them Samsung advise you to go to them and use SMART. It does wipe the entire phone, but at this point, that is the last of your worries.

I'm planning on trying this if I cannot revert to stock as I have cwm on my 4.3 official. Just have to wait a few weeks.

Well, Samsung was unable to reflash because they don't have the binary from AT&T yet. It soft brick using Kies as it tried to reflash 4.1.2 over 4.3 which we know it's not possible. With the soft brick I went back to Odin and reinstall the cf autoroot and booted to recovery. I then master reset and booted to 4.1.2 with Knox triggered and the 4.3 ota will always fail. You can at least try that to boot to 4.1.2 at least until a 4.3 stock is released and can be flashed with Odin.

I'm still waiting for the 4.3 firmware, but on the bright side, AT&T replaced my phone for free. If I get the firmware, I will have another working phone (hopefully).

They did the same with me and outside warranty

They don't seem to be on SamMobile or SamsungFirmware sites :-\
No Odin to the rescue is possible without those files

The file server they used voluntarily shut down. Media file or whatever it was.
