Korean looking language on weather location on home screen

I got Korean looking text where the phone usually shows the city in the weather gadget. Confirmed same problem on a friend's phone also...

Anybody know whats the issue?

Sounds like a problem you'd encounter when having Allow Mock Locations enabled, but I've had that happen before with HTC phones without having that enabled and the only thing that I knew to fix it was to do a factory reset/wipe.

And you are talking about the HTC Sense flip clock widget with weather??? Have you tried removing it, then adding a new one again... then you check the location???
