Kyocera Hydro Wave ear speaker problem

Hi, I have a Kyocera Hydro Wave from metropcs and the ear piece speaker sounds like it is blown when the call volume is all the way turned up. Does this specific phone normally do this or is the one I have defective? Can someone else with this phone let me know if their phone does this on full volume? Thanks
