I think removing the jackstick is the way forward.. It's a old technology from 1800 something we all have modern digital devices and yet many of us use bad analogue techniligy like jack... I think mate 10 pro is a good example of how to move forward.... And trust me Samsung and others will follow soon

Yes, get use to no hp jacks. More and more phones are coming sans the headphone port.

Then I don't really see the big deal. Those that need the headphone jack can use the dongle. Granted it's more inconvenient... But it works.

What phone do you have now? Why not test it on that first?

All my phones have a headphone jack tho. I'll be more annoyed bringing a dongle with me knowing my phone already got a headphone jack lol

But you can always try it out to see if you can live with it
