Lack of updates make me want to go iPhone or maybe WebOS

I recommend unlocking and flashing new rom. There is some amazing stuff out there including gb. There are some awesome new kernels out there that increase battery life and performance...These new roms are free and themed really nice. I'm running Koni's elite series 3 right now and it looks and runs awesomely.

I wouldn't go to webOS if your mad about lack of updates. HP will tell you they are gonna support your phone then out of the blue they lie to you..

I agree. There is more you can do with an Android then any other OS out there. You just need to do some investigating and be daring enough to try them out.

Someone who has been using gingerbread thanks to cyanogenmod can tell you gingerbread isn't really all that it is cracked up to be. It really didn't add that many features that are worth getting stressed out about. The huge major updates of the past for android isn't coming out as often the more android has become a very popular and mature OS. Ice cream may become that if it does bring honeycomb and Google TV together as rumors may suggest but froyo was a great version and still is.

I agree 100%.

But I still think they are sinking anyway, just at a slower rate.
