Does anyone else have this problem.. When you turn the screen on the widgets don't appear for a second... Then it is fine once the cpu catches up?

Maybe conflicting app pausing bootup? My safemode suggestion wouldn't work now that I have my coffee xD.. but you might have an app pausing bootup most likely..

Thanks, I downloaded an app earlier where you turn the screen on by the prox. sensor. I got rid of it and do believe that is the reason why...

I've not used it but several people have said the Briefing app in touchwiz(swipe left) can cause a delay when it's refreshing.

I believe if you long press on the screen, go over to Briefing, there is a checkbox above that screen where you can turn it off.
