Lag issues?

I just got my Note 8 today. So far it's running decently. I am worried about the Samsung lag eventually though... Apparently it gets pretty bad with the Note 8 I've heard? Has anyone here had issues they can vouch for?

Where did you get the impression that it gets bad with the Note 8? I would say that the consistent message has been that the Note 8 has not had lag issues.

There will always be the exception with any device, but from what I've been reading and seeing, people are not having lag issues with the Note 8.

I can speak for myself at least and say that I have zero lag after 6+ months of use.

Lol, had my Note8 since launch week, and yet to experience lag.

Take note, I have a near full 128GB MicroSD in it and the built-in 64GB memory is also about 75% full. No lag issues here, this thing just keeps chugging along and Multitasking like an absolute beast of a thing!

People who moan about lag should just stick to old Nokias, it has always been totally avoidable, quite easy to avoid even, my partners 2017 J3 gets it a little bit if it is not restarted and cache cleared once a month

Apart from the battery life, which sucks big time, and the annoying location smart lock, which is pretty much hit and miss, this phone is a beast.

No lag whatsoever in 6 months.

I've had my Note8 since September and use it heavily every day since I got it. There is no lag on this phone. The only Samsung phone I had lag on and that I hated was the S5. This phone is a true beast. The only time I ever notice a lag is during a software update which is understandable. After every update, I clear cache partition. Always fixes any issue with lagging after updates.

Had mine also since launch and no lag at all. I did a FDR after Oreo and it cured a few little issues I had been having. Running great.

what "lag" do you mean?i had never noticed a single time it "lag"...i often use multi window and whatsapp video calls and everythings fast.
