So... I'm now noticing some lag on the Evo 3D.

I dont know what I did different or if it's something I downloaded yesterday, but my Evo 3D now lags a bit when scrolling through the home screens.

It's not smooth anymore :/

Anybody else?:'(

Check your task manager. See if there are apps running in the background that could be hogging the ram.

Mine is as speedy as ever.

No way. My friend who got it yesterday has been using it extensively and no lag whatsoever. It's the fastest phone I've seen so far.

Have not put it down yet,, no lag here blazing fast

EVO - LUTION 3D

Well I do notice it's more prominent when scrolling from the screen with the Clock widget and my bluetooth, wifi, 4g and profile widgets...

But I could have sworn it didnt have that issue before.................

i got lag ever since the new update...i still had some before but it got worse.already hard reset device 3 times still laggy

Never experienced the lag either. Device is super fast and I believe may have been faster than my Atrix. Can't remember. I'll have to test it out.

If mine is laggy in any way, when I pick it up tomorrow, I will be getting it replaced ASAP. There should be no lag at all on this bad boy, regardless of what's running in the background.

After watching Phil's videos of the interface, I can definitely say mine isn't as smooth as it was when I first pulled it out of the box...........

It may have been after the update; I really didnt pay attention to it then. But I am noticing it now....

EDIT: Figured it out.

It's the HTC Calendar widget. Every other widget is fine. But once I remove the HTC Calendar widget, it's smooth again. WTF? I like my calendar on there :(

I did the update and I'm still lag free. It's iPhone smooth. Best phone ever.

I use the calendar widget. No problems.

I don't know if it's just my eyes messing with me, but after removing my calendar widget, the home screens may have gotten smoother, especially when going from one of the side screens to the main weather clock screen.

Can someone else confirm this?

Had to bump this.

Somebody, add the HTC calendar(full-month) widget to one of your screens and tell me if it makes scrolling lag a bit.

Need some input, dont know if I'll be getting my Evo 3D swapped or not.

I tries with the calander on it but not lag yet, its been silky smooth since yesterday. Then again I dont use google calender so it might not be pulling anything in the background.

Well! Looks like I'll be stopping by Sprint today, then. Maybe I can convince them and have em swap it out....

Does it feel totally smooth as soon as you remove the calendar widget? Did you apply both updates? The second one had to do with synching, maybe that helps?

Also, how many widgets do you have on the other homescreens? You could try to clear all widgets off all homescreens except the clock one, then add the calendar one to see if it's still smooth and fast then. Just use the process of elimination by adding and widgets.
