lag problems

Do any of you guys have problems with lagging? When I swipe one of my app shortcuts from my lock screen it will unlock my phone and then eventually go into the actual app that I unlocked. However, it will show the home screen for a sec and then go to the app. Does this happen to you guys?

I notice a lag only when I use the google now search from the default home screen.
