lag problems.

The lag I'm experiencing is after unlocking, it takes about a second for the on-screen buttons to come up and then another half second for the screen to become responsive. Nothing like the lightning quick response of my old nexus 4. This is with Nova btw.

Anyone else experiencing this?

Nova is light years ahead of stock from my experience. It's still not as smooth as I would like it but it's making my wife happier, and that's all that counts.

Mine is rooted, debloated and tweaked, but I don't remember anything like that even before I rooted. Right now when I tap on the screen the navigation buttons are there immediately, and the screen is responsive immediately.
