Lag when using fingerprint unlock

Before I accidentally reset my phone the fingerprint unlock work good and fast. Sometimes it wouldn't read my fingerprint but it opened fast when it did. Now after the reset it reads my finger well but take 5 to 7 seconds to unlock the phone. Any ideas to why?

Mine is slow as well and it has been since I updated to 5.0.2 on att. Before that it was really fast. It really lags when I open a notification from the lockscreen.

I'm on 5.1.1 with verizon. I like using the fingerprint but the lag is really annoying.
