On my great quest with the m8, I finally found it. LAG. When I was in a low light condition with night mode, the m8 lagged and when I moved the camera, it blurred massively. Anyone else experiencing this?

I have not had any problems shooting in low light. I'm not necessarily surprised however, since that's pretty common in low light situations with smartphone cameras. I'll do some more testing tonight, however.

That sure sounds pretty normal for most smartphone cameras. I think you'll have to keep searching for lag in your M8!

The only time lag bothers me on any device is when I am just using it and I notice.

Lol that's not lag, every phone in night mode will have a delay. It's from the shutter being open longer and causing a delay. It will also be blurry if you move the phone around because more light is entering the shutter

I have not noticed any lag whatsoever on mine.. I came from the Note 3 and I sometimes had lag on that thing... Hopefully I don't run into any lag on the M8...

Set it to ART runtime. Disable all transitions. Problem solved.

That won't resolve what he's talking about. He is referring to shutter delay, which will happen on any camera. The delay is caused by having the shutter being open for whatever time the user specifies. It has nothing to do with runtime

No no the G3 is a 2.5K screen. But they are advertising it as a 2K screen for tax reasons.

I thought they were advertising it as a 2k screen to keep insurance costs low, didn't realize it was for tax purposes
