Landscape mode switching to portrait while watching videos

While watching videos on YouTube and Netflix in landscape mode the phone goes to portrait. In YouTube this will cause a minimized screen. In Netflix this will cause the video to back out. It happens without me touching my phone. It can happen every few minutes or only every 20 or so.

Thanks , you can try setting>apps>3 dots upper right corner tap reset app preferences

I thought it worked, but 4 minutes into a video (YouTube) it switched to portrait and minimized.
Any other ideas?

You can try clearing data then cache in those 2 apps , it resets them

I've forced stop, updated, restarted the phone.
I'm at a loss, still.

You did the data clear also?

I only have the options to open, disable, or force stop. I also uninstalled/reinstalled.
The way it just started a few days ago & it also does it in Netflix - it makes me feel like it is a phone issue, not an app issue. I'll try watching something on Hulu or Amazon to see if it happens there also.

If you go to storage it will have the option, yes check the other apps also
