Landscape photos

Whenever I take a photo with my S7 (Nougat) it gets saved as a portrait even when taken in landscape mode. Is there a way around this?

Is your auto-rotation switch turned on? Is the rotation wrong on the phone or when you transfer it to a PC? I just took a few with mine already in Nougat and see no issue on the phone. When transferred to a PC, however, the rotation data is 'lost' but, if I recall correctly, this is a 'problem' with Windows, not the phone (and it's been doing that since many phones ago).

Thanks for that. I think I've got it sorted with settings within the photo app. I will keep an eye on it.
