Language: Fully English for Honor Magic V2

Hello

I live in Lebanon and I just bought an Honor Magic V2.

I started it, I chose English and continued the installation.

I speak only English (French and Arabic).

1- I cannot add Google Assistant in English: the choice to choose English is greyed

2- I still see News in Chinese; I need to be able to choose the language of the News (English, or French or Arabic)

3- Yoyo assistant: I have to say in Chinese otherwise it doesn't open. When it opens, it shows chinese texts and hardly can understand me

4- A lot of windows open in Chinese.


I want all my Honor Magic V2 to be fully English; How to do that?

Welcome to Android Central! If the phone was intended for the Chinese market, you may not be able to change that, since it may be baked into the firmware. Have you already checked the system settings to make sure the system language is set to English?

If that still doesn't help, then you could check the forums at XDA-Developers.com to see if there's any way to flash an English firmware (if there is even one available). Otherwise, you should try to get a refund for the phone.
