Was going to get one of these, but still love my free Google Chromebook. Don't feel like I need it.

Mine is coming today or tomorrow. The telesales girl was too confused to allow be to get the 2 device discount over the phone so I had to order it at the sprint store directly. The manager had no idea the lapdock existed, but once I explained the concept to him he said he'd try to get a demo unit.

I'm really looking forward to it as my out of warranty macbook died and I currently don't have a portable computer.

I love the dock now the wife and my brother wants one it's not a laptop replacement but it's a nice smartphone extension

Definitely agree that its not a laptop replacement. To me its a great thing to have for anyone on Sprint/Verizon that doesn't have a tethering plan. I use a desktop as my main PC (its actually a custom Hackintosh) but this is all I need for class and the road. I already have used the freedom of having 3g (no 4g in my area and we will never be getting wimax either) to work in places I couldn't before. Very nice.

I would get the Razr dock from Verizon. I just did and it works perfectly with my Photon. It's $200, so cheaper than you would get it from Sprint. Still playing around with it, but I like it so far.

The lapdock 100 is $200 & the 500 is $300 from verizon. I'm waiting for verizon discount to come along

Hey guys the new Motorola Laptop Dock is available from sprint but at a price of $250. Heres the link Sprint - All Accessories

I have the lapdock 100 and I got it for $199 plus tax. I really like it alot. It will not be a notebook replacement (as others have said) but it is great since I can access my phone's applications on a 10.1 in screen. I also have the a ability to access my school's online learning sight as if I was using my macbook (using the full Firefox browser). My only compliant is the track pad mouse does not let me shut off touch to select. I have always hated that feature and turned it off of all my track pad mice. The size does take some getting used to since I do not have dainty hands and fingers. Overall, I am happy with my purchase. I like how I can use my 3g coverage instead of public wifi.

From my understanding, the lapdock 500 has more features for the business user in mind where as the lapdock 100 is more for the basic consumer. I also believe that the lapdock 500 has a bigger screen then the lapdock 100. I read this info from one of the technology review sites.

I didn't realize there was a second lapdock. I did a search on it and the 500 looks pretty cool and it seems to have more ports and a webcam. I wish the 100 had the webcam. I didn't read anything about a bigger screen though.

Is that the one with the remote that you can use as a handset?

Nope, that's the HD Station. That's also very cool. My Sprint store has one set up as a demo, and its a nice (but expensive) solution if you want all the pieces to really make it work.

I'm personally thinking the Lapdock 100 is for me...small and portable, but I do wish it had a webcam built in.
