Laptop won't connect to S3 mini hotspot.

I have an Asus X54C laptop which will not connect to my Samsung Galaxy S3 mini wifi hotspot. The laptop connects to all other wifi hotspots no problem, and my iPad connects quite well through my S3. So why won't the two connect to each other?

I think this might be a driver problem from your samsung device, not the laptop. Can you try connecting other devices like other phones to your S3 hotspot?

I can connect my husband's laptop and my iPad to my S3 wifi. It's just my laptop that does not connect.
