Last Android update broke some Amazon apps

Just finished chatting with an Amazon tech rep. If you’re setting up your Pixel and notice that some of the apps you got from them are missing under Cloud on the Amazon app, it’s because a recent Android OS update broke compatibility with a few of their apps (some Angry Birds titles, others). They’re working on a solution.

Welcome to Android Central, and thanks for the heads up! Is the Amazon Underground app itself updated? In the Amazon Underground app, search for Amazon Underground itself, and see if it says Update.

Thanks. My app just says Amazon (not Underground), although it had My Apps in a submenu. I did search for A. Underground in the app, and it did say Update, so I did... and the new app still just says it's Amazon (no mention of Underground). I think it integrates both. At any rate, their tech confirmed that the reason some apps won't DL is because the latest Android update broke their compatibility, so hopefully they'll fix it eventually.
