Hi everyone. :)

I posted the below question on the LastPass forum but either no one knows the answer.. or it's a useless forum. So I came here because I know someone will be able to help. :)

I'd like to use the stock Samsung internet browser but all my passwords are saved in Googles passwords manager. I read that there's no way to import your Google passwords into Samsungs browser and that a lot of people use LastPass as it's system wide.

I did a quick Google search to see if I could import my Chrome passwords from passwords.google to LastPass on my Note but I didn't find much so I'm beginning to wonder if it's even possible.

I have the LastPass app installed but can't see any import options. If anyone can help that would be great.

Or if the above is not possible then can anyone recommend a good secure password manager which works with Samsung's browser and/ or system wide?

Many thanks in advance. :)

Not sure what you mean by Google's password manager. Normally you can export/import from password manager to pw manager. Firefox lets you export login info saved in it, can't remember the format, but it's text. I would look at what import options Lastpass has and go from there. However, to my knowledge, there is no direct way to get saved login info from a browser to a passwork manager other than manually entering them.

No web browser, like Google Chrome, is going to let other apps read its password storage, as that would defeat the purpose of its security. If the browser does not let you export the usernames and passwords, you will need to enter that data manually into your password manager app.

Hi. Thanks for your post. :)

Sorry... I don't think it's actually a password manager in chrome. It's just a list of websites and the passwords that you have asked chrome to remember. It's located at passwords.google.com.

Very good point. I didn't think of that. Even though it's obvious. :D
