Late call notification

Recently I've found that incoming calls on my 1st Gen Moto 360 are not showing up on my watch until several minutes after the call. I've actually missed some calls, because by the time the notification came through, it's already showing up on my phone as missed. I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling, and it seemed to help for a while, but they are back to being very late. Any ideas?

I had the same problem with my note 4, now that I have the 6P my calls come right on time

Any time I've had delayed notifications, I've found it to be an issue with lag on my phone which delays the notifications. Usually a phone reboot fixes it for me.

I'm getting this too on my Nexus 6P - which is super annoying sometimes!

I have found that rebooting the phone does take care of it for a while, but eventually the lag comes back. I've even gotten the Marshmallow update on my 360, but that hasn't helped at all.
