Do you need bleeding edge technology? If so, then I would wait until November.

But since you've held on to your GNex for this long, I'm going to assume the answer to that question is no. In which case, absolutely you should pull the trigger on the N4 if you want a new phone, especially for the price. The phone is slick, fast, and beautiful. The only other option I would consider is the new stock version of the HTC One, but that costs quite a bit extra.
 
IMHO the only reason to not get the N4 is that it doesn't have LTE( stock). If you're OK with T-Mobile & rooting the N4 to get LTE then go for it.

T mobiles High speed data is pretty fast, is available almost everywhere, and doesn't suck the battery down. Not so much with LTE, except the speed, but I don't download that much that I need a faster speed than what I get on T mobile.
