Lately, When I Take My Watch Off Charger, I Have to Re-Start My Watch

In the past when I put my currently "on" watch on the charger and then took it off, the watch would still be in the on position. Now when I take my previously "on" watch off the the charger, it's off. I've looked thru the settings but can't find anything related. I'd like the watch to remain on while it's charging. Maybe this was a change with the last update? I don't wear the watch every day so I don't know how long it's been like this.

I charge mine every other day or so and I haven't ever experienced this. 90% of the time it's on when I charge it and 100% of the time it's on when I remove it. Have you tried resetting the watch?
