latest android wear update disables voice control?

my Moto 360 is absolutely garbage when I try to use the voice stuff, especially replying to a text yet my G Watch was perfect.. Bit gutted really as I sold my G Watch for the 360.

Been hearing a lot of complaints about this... Haven't updated my android wear app yet for this very reason .

Play store comments are full of complaints claiming voice control is broken.
