I just grabbed the latest Photos update from Playstore. Release notes mention managing photos on SD card. I deleted one photo I know is stored on the SD and it deleted. Seems to be gone with no complaints.

Anyone else notice same?

Hi claykin,

Which version of Google Photos do you currently have installed following the update ?

I have version 4.4 and I am still unable to delete a photo from Google photos and the SD card.

Sorry, the version number I have is actually 1.19.0.120877342

I posted the app review rating earlier haha.

Not me. Still says I have to launch gallery to delete.

Sorry, was offline for a few days. The 1.20.x branch seems to have added SD card delete. Yippee

I have the S7 Edge, and I tried the version you said (and it didn't work) and then reupdated, didn't work. And then completely downgraded, still didn't work... :( This stinks!
