Can I disable or shutdown Mobeam Service Application? Latest AT&T update KitKat Update KitKat from AT&T Software shut off all my phone/messaging functions. Did a factory reset b/c AT&T tech suggested or go to BestBuy to get it reset. Still can't get my phone to notify text messages with tone only notifies with vibration. Checked all necessary boxes in Applications and settings in texts. Also noticed my default ring tones for Contacts setup doesn't work like it did with 4.2.2 original AT&T update when I purchased a year ago. Any suggestions? Using 4.3 kernel 3.40-.....

Sorry, but I'm not really following what your question or problem is. Sounds like an issue with not receiving text messages and/or ringtones not sticking?

Problems w/ringtones and text message notifications after update of AT&T software KitKat. 3 weeks later Reset to factory settings back to update 4.3 and still no notification of texts. Only getting a vibration notification and no tones. I can live with the Contacts ringtone issues.
