Now that it's going away, has anyone been able to get locations under G+ to work? Absolute fail, Google!

Never been able to get video chat under G+ to work either, even with a perfect 4G connection. I'm thinking more and more that Google sucks.

Under the G+ Settings, select Location sharing--is it turned on? Next, go to Google Settings in your App Drawer, select Maps & Latitude, and make sure Location Reporting is turned on.

All that was done and it still doesn't work.

I'm still playing with the new locations. You have to have the other people give you permission again. You have to add them as well.

Yeah, after playing around with the settings and going through the sharing process on both phones half a dozen times, it finally started working. Then I tried it today, and with zero changes on either phone, my phone is telling me that no one is sharing their location with me.

I'm SO tired of Google putting out broken products. Does ANYONE test this stuff, or do they just slap a bunch of code together and hope for the best? Google is becoming the new Micro$haft.
