Question How to turn off frequent pin prompts at home?

Hello all,

Moto G 2021, Android 11. I am at home, an address which Android is supposed to trust. Smart authentication is turned on. In range of a bluetooth device it is supposed to trust. it knows enough about me to know I am in a trusted place. Yet I get prompted for PIN every couple of hours. Why on earth? I could set lock screen to "none," but that doesn't work for me either. Is there anything I can do to get that the phone is to trust me where I am? I'm tired of jumping through hoops, nothing more than security theater, for google, apple, and others.

Trusted Places has never been very reliable, unfortunately. I've never seen it work on a consistent basis on any of my devices.

Does your phone have a fingerprint sensor? I find that to be a much quicker way to authenticate.
