I know there are threads discussing the usage of the Car Panel all ready but I wanted to start a new thread so this information would be easier to find.
I stumbled across a new way to launch car panel without having to use a different launcher. Download Apps Organizer (free) from the market. This program lets you assign categories to all of the programs and then place attractive icons on your home screens. After clicking on an icon you will get a popup window much like the htc Sense folders with all of the applications in that category listed. Car Panel is one of the apps listed so you can easily have access to car panel in 2 clicks. First click to open the folder and the second to launch the application.
