launch google maps with voice

Hey there, I am getting used to my s6. Sometimes I am driving and there could be an accident and I need to try and grab my phone and put it in the phone holder in my car then navigate to google maps to help me find an alternate route by hand. I am wondering if I could make this easier by doing some of this with my voice. I know it is possible to search a specific place after pressing the voice icon manually after launching google maps, but is there a way so I can just put the phone in the car holder then use my voice to launch maps and say what my destination is? Thanks.

"Navigate to home" (or Chili's on County Road C, or whatever)
NAVIGATING... done

Waze is probably the best app for what you are looking for though. It will know about the accidents before you do, and re-route you accordingly.

Ah ok seems have to swipe to the screen that has the google search first then say it. I'll look into waze is that voice activated?
