Samsung Voice Input not working on Galaxy A52 5G

So, my mom's phone's Samsung Voice Input (I've basically given up and had her switch to Google Voice) randomly stopped working a few weeks ago. I've gone through just about every trouble shooting tip I can find. My dad has the same exact phone, both using current version of Android. Everything is identical. I checked them side by side looking at all the settings I could think of and yet, Samsung Voice Input simply will not work on her phone. Does anyone have an idea what might be going wrong?

Is the phone fully up to date in terms of security patches, Google Play system updates, and also apps in the Galaxy Store?

Yeah, the two phones are completely updated in all aspects. I went ahead and swapped over to Google Voice Input and she's happy with that.
