Launcher not selecting default

My device is micromax q340 which is running in android 5.0 and I am using mi launcher any launcher in my device is not selecting default and when I click home button then just all apps are gone only background is available plzzz do anything plz help me

Welcome to Android Central! Have you actually selected Mi Launcher as the default? Try going to Settings>Apps, tapping Menu, then tapping Reset All App Preferences. Now press the Home button -- does it ask you which launcher to complete the action with?
