I recently upgraded from my old Droid Razr Maxx to the Droid Turbo 2, running LP 5.1.1. I have been using LauncherPro, by Federico Carnales, since I first installed it, back in 2010, on my Original Droid, running Eclair. In spite of it no longer being actively supported, and no updates since 5/11/11, it continues to work as originally designed. Even now, on the Turbo 2, and LP 5.1.1, I can enjoy the familiar launcher set up I have used for years.
Does anyone know if LauncherPro works with Marshmallow? I have been holding back on taking the Turbo 2 MM Update, due to some of the problems that have been found with the Update. I would like to move ahead soon, however, if I would loose LauncherPro in the process, the Update might not be worth it to me.
It would be great, if someone with the technical knowledge required, would acquire the rights to this APP, and continue its development. At some point, Android OS will probably evolve past what LauncherPro can cope with. I just hope Marshmallow is not that point.

Haha launcherpro... That used to be the best launcher. Way outdated as you've mentioned. Can't comment on MM, but there are many better options out there these days. That was last updated for froyo or something.. It's like running Windows XP or ME

With all due respect, it's time to move on if LauncherPro happens to not work with marshmallow. Newer launchers that are still supported are way better at this point. Nova launcher is the best now.

Agreed. Nova (and Nova Pro, with some add'l options) is lean, responsive, polished and has very useful features such as the ability to scale icon sizes, allow overlapping widgets, place widgets in the deck, etc. Apex and Nova have been my favorites for years, and Nova seems to be the best in my experience. Highly recommended.
