Launcher Question

If I use a different launcher does that put any drain on the battery. Sorry if this seems like a stupid question .

Thank for the answer that exactly what I thought.Now I'm not so apprehensive about using another launcher . I saw how to user the Google launcher on another site to give me a more nexus feel coming fromba galaxy nexus to this not sure if I like the touch whiz yet. Thanks
