Yes on samsung galaxy s6 one can use most if not all plus more from Nova pro.

well by features I mean how some default apps have a mini popup giving control of the app from the lock screen like in the screenshots provided and double tap to turn off screen

I know that they do work at least on the phones I used, easy way to find out is just download a free app version of a nova launcher set it up how u like it and see if all ur stock features still work.

I have the idol 3 and those features don't work with Nova launcher.

Well first of all thanks for trying to help me. I have tried to see if these features work on Nova Launcher, Apex Launcher, and Google Now Launcher. It doesn't work, which is why I made this post.

not really, this is not the first phone that I have had to give up some small but useful features from the default launcher on a phone to use a third party launcher like nova
