Launcher2

I am very curious if i can switch out the basic shortcuts on launcher2 (phone and web) for messaging and contacts? In the settings i don't think there is a way. So that makes me believe there could be a way using root explorer by deleting and installing some apks. Can someone help me out? thank you.

Launcher2 is a very minimal and basic launcher and you can't really customize it that I know of.

I think that Launcherpro is a very good alternative. Very customizable, even with the free version.

another vote for launcher pro. The only 2 things you cannot do with the free vs paid versions is resize widgets and use their widgets. Other than that you can customize a lot of things.

Yup. IMO it's very worth the $3 or $4 bucks for the pro version.

Yeah I've been using launcher pro for awhile now but Idk why but I like the looks of the launcher 2 dock. I should probly just try to find the dock and use it as the launcher pro dock.

If you like the look of the launcher 2 dock take a look at ADW or ADW EX launcher. The center dock is somewhat similar in form to the one in launcher 2, and it is customizable. It's larger but pretty much the same idea.

Thats what i'm using right now actually

I havn't used ADW since i first got my fascinate lol
