OK I just recently Downloaded LauncherPro Icons and docks. Im trying to figure how do I change the icons after they are saved in my gallery. Anyone know?
Long press on the icon you want to change then select change icon/then custom icon / then choose icon from gallery / then locate the icon you want to use. If you need to change the short cut too choose that first then it will prompt you for what icon you want to use and make sure you pick custom.
If you don't mind setting your screens up again you might want to uninstall it then download it again sounds like you have something wrong. Or in settings>applications>manage applications>running programs>select LP then clear data and cache this will also wipe all your LP settings and screens.
And your right you only need to press for the time it would add a widget.
The only icons you can change are those in the dock. If you want to change the icons on your home screen, you need to use something else like Desktop Visualizer.
If I understand what you want to do, then you need to press on a blank area of the screen, select "Shortcuts", then Applications, select Phone application, and then in the "edit Shortcut" dialog box that opens, you can touch the icon and change it.
Yeah not sure I get what you are asking but there are two things I've read on this thread:
1) You want to change the icons on your wallpaper
2) You want to change the icons on your menu dock
The first one can be done by re-adding the icon to the screen. Long press on the wallpaper (blank area), select "shortcuts" and then "applications" and when you add a new application, you have the option to change the name or the icon.
The second can be done by long pressing on the icon on the dock and it wil ask you if you want to change the icon.
