Based on the article posted on Android Central on 8/12 by Simon Sage about the top launchers, what do you think is the best launcher for the N3?
Also will the Google Now Launcher make the N3 act like a Nexus phone?
I have had my N3 for 7 months now and am ready to try something besides touchwiz.
Would appreciate comment's.

That article is nonsense.

For me, Nova Prime is the best of the 3 dozen launchers I've tried.

I'm giving Action Launcher a test drive at the moment but sure like my Nova Prime.

I use Nova Prime and TouchWiz. Both have strong points and both have downsides. I find nothing wrong with TouchWiz and find it works extremely well for me especially with the stock Android and Samsung apps. Nova Prime also works well for me and allows for 5 icons across where TouchWiz does not. In addition, Nova Prime allows you to access dozens of icon sets and themes..I have tried several others and find most of them to be more hassle than helpful.Takes your pick and go for it. Your mileage may vary.

I am using Nova prime. Tried a few others but like nova the best.

Nova Prime for me too. I think if you look at other launcher threads you'll find them mentioned most often. I liked what I had before but I can't remember what it was now.

I'm currently using nova, apex, holo and next 3D. IMO nova has ther overall smoothness and custimization. I have some issues with Apex right now and that's all I'm going to say about it. You probably not going to like holo since you're using the new note, and you probably not going to worry about size and the small memory usage, but that's the fortes of holo launcher, small and compact. As for next 3D if you like eye candy and customization, this is probably your launcher. However, it's pricy and takes up lots resource. So if you still not sure what to get and don't want to go wrong, nova is a sure bet.

After trying Action Launcher for a couple days I'm back to Nova. Had a few lag issues for some reason, and since I already paid once for a launcher I didn't feel like paying another premium fee. Nova is very smooth, and I like the transition from screen to screen and the wraparound effect.

I'm a launcher (Nova) newbie, can you tell me about themes? Worth downloading (google play?) lastly what is the main difference if I buy the upgrade to Nova Prime?
Thanks,
Robert

There are some free themes, I would try some out so you can see what they're about. Very easy to switch between default and any themes you download. Just do a search in Google Play Store for Nova themes, you'll get a bunch of results. I switch around, running the 'Google KikKat' icon theme pack.

I would be lost without ADW.EX launcher

Nova would be my second
