Launchers

Combination of Nova prime launcher, Microsoft launcher and OnePlus launcher with a wallpaper changing app. I take all my wallpapers from wallpapercraft. All high quality with beautiful details. Changing launchers and wallpapers keeps things spiced up.

Nova/Action Launcher rotation. Nova is my Pixel setup while Action serves as my old school Nexus setup.

I use and love NOVA my Samsung S9+ looks just my pixel did. I think it's great and the fact that you can backup and restore to another phone I great on Nova.

I ran into problems restoring the backup from my LG V20 to my Galaxy S9+.

I ended up starting over from scratch.

Question for the folks who use Microsoft Launcher... what's good about it? I'm not too deeply embedded in the Microsoft ecosystem, so I've never had the initiative to use it.

I've been a Nova Prime Launcher user for many years(from its inception) however I now find myself using Action Launcher (paid edition) It just seems quicker, seamless interactions, and overall more useful. It just works!

I too was a long time Nova user who recently switched to Action. It does work, although I have more issues using it in my Huawei Media Pad M3.

This probably won't help the original poster, but I'm running the vanilla Pixel Launcher. I only just started using Android a little more than a week ago. I love the way the Pixel 2 XL runs and I got it specifically because I wanted the vanilla Google Android experience.

I'm using the default Samsung TouchWiz.
It's super fast and has all the features I need. Only thing I'm missing is the ability to change individual icons for apps...
I've also tried Nova prime and it was really nice with many options, but it wasn't as fast as TW and it didn't have an option to reorder the apps in the drawer (it's only alphabetically).

You can use Awesome Icons to change icons on any launcher. It works really well.

Awesome Icons kinda works. I just hate this tag on the icon. Screenshot_20180511-134719_Samsung%20Experience%20Home.jpg

I never use the stock launcher. I'll play with it on days off. For funsies.

Thanks, Brandon.
If I understand correctly, Awesome Icons creates a shortcut on the home screen for the desired app and allows you to change the icon for the shortcut.
The problem with this method is that you lose the long press and icon badge functionality 🙁

Another one with Microsoft launcher.
