So yeah. I just dropped my phone and it landed on the screen. It only fell about a foot and a half. The back cover popped off along with the battery. Now my screen flashes different tints of colors and it looks very washed out. Almost looks like windows safe mode without video drivers.... anyone know of a fix or am I screwed?

Hope you have insurance! If not, there are ways to replace the screen, not sure if I'd want to do it though.

If you trust me and send me it, i would fix it for you, but again your at a risk...
The main phone iv'e fixed are evo 4g's, there so easy... If you want go on ebay where you buy the glass, or if they don't the full body...like 90 bucks which sucks... and go find videos or ill walk you through it. I was going to start working on them...i have one, obviously but there a lot harder than the evo's because the glass sits on top of the weird bottom piece.

Did the screen break? If not call in tell them your phone is having screen issues, get a CLNR, that easy.

The screen isn't cracked at all. Works perfectly fine but the LCD screen is the one having the problems. the screen flickers occasionly to a green tint and all the colors are the same but they are washed out. Like when you get a paper wet with marker on it. Ill try and get a picture of it.

The first picture is my daughter. Notice how all the colors are washed out especially on her forehead. The second picture is of my screen. Notice the dock bar on the bottom and the music player widget. Hope that better describes my problem.

Looks like for the lack of a better term, the video card is toasted. If there is no physical damage to the phone try and return it under warranty. Its what I would do anyway

Hmm. Ill have to take it in next weekend. Would be nice if I could get a replacement. I really love this phone and if the screen is messed up then it kind of defeats the whole purpose. Thanks for all the quick responses.

I had a gut feeling that it was something like a video card but didn't realize the phone even had one that was capable of getting damaged.

Well good news. For whatever reason my screen fixed itself. Woo hoo.

Awesome!!! :D As others have said, the Thunderbolt is a VERY smart phone! Even self healing!! ;)

On a serious note, sounds like you may have had a loose connection from the drop that has reseated/fixed itself over time. :)
