Looks like we have a leak. I don't take credit for this and I have no idea who original posted it... but on xda, user Aeras76 posted the following links:

ANother user on xda confirmed it worked xda-developers - View Single Post - Kitkat 4.4 coming to the G Pad 8.3 and G2 - eventually.
I would recommend waiting for the devs to work on something but if you want to play with it or test it here it is. If it is anything like the G2 kitkat update it will kill any custom recovery, but you may still be able to restore back to an older version like the G2 users were able to do.
As always do this at your own risk, anything you do to your device is NOT mine or anyone elses fault. Good luck!
