Leaving your phone.

Well this was years ago, I was using an iPhone 3gs, maybe an iPhone 4. So over the years I went through an HTC phone, some no name phone, and quite a few Samsungs. I had the note 4, and had to give up my beloved note 7 last year. I'm happy to have a note again ☺️

a similar history here except windows phone instead of iphone

True story: I walk my dog at the high school by my house. It's 2 streets away, but the highway is 1 way so I have to cross a bridge and come back up on my way home. After a walk one day I couldn't find my phone anywhere. It was the S7E. Long story short, I left it on top of my car! I'm absent minded like that. Only the case kept it from sliding off! So for the N8, I'm only using cases that pass the slide test.

OP, that would so be me. On weekends I don't carry a purse, so I use my wallet case and if I had to potty, it would go on the tp holder. So glad your brain kicked in soon enough! That could've been tragic!

I need that case. do you remember which one it was? thanks! and I would totally leave my phone on my roof and take off. I've done it with various things. it's a family thing.

Before I leave anywhere I always check for 3 things... Wallet, keys, phone. That way I won't walk away without any of them. it is a habit I have formed :P.

This is a big concern my S7 would easily fit in my front pocket for those nature breaks ,now im carying a phablet the N8 so thats not a option, years ago I left a work phone in the bathroom and it disappeard so I called the phone and the person that found it wanted money to return the phone

I left my Note 8 in a public restroom this morning.
When I realized it was missing, my life flashed before my eyes as I ran down 5 flights of stairs and bypassed the elevator to get to my abandoned $1000.00 cell phone.
Finding her lying helpless on the black TP holder, I breathed a sigh of relief and apologized for my indescretion.
My heart beat returned to a normal pattern and rate.
My cellphone forgave me.

I did something similar only it was worse. I took the dogs to a off leash park. Left my purse with the new cellphone in it with all my credit cards etc. hanging on the back of a bench while I drove home. When it dawned on me, my heart rate accelerated and I felt short of breath lol. Truly short of breath as I raced back to dog park with no sense of hope as lots of low lives hang out there. It was still hanging on the bench! Whew, I dodged a bullet too. Glad your was on the TP holder !!!

VRS Design. It's clear with a black bumper. The bumper looks smooth, but that sucker is grippy.

Left my first Note 7 in a shelf in Target. Took me almost ten minutes to find it . Probably had a 500 Blood Pressure

I've never left my Note 8 or any of my other previous phones anywhere except home or my car. I have managed to leave my wedding ring and other jewelry in bathrooms, breakrooms etc... Smh

It's not exactly a phone but I've had a belt for years and I was in another country and I used a toilet at the airport before boarding my flight and I sat down on the plane and my waist didn't feel as tight so I looked down and the belt wasn't there and I quickly sprinted off the plane screeching "I forgot the belt!" And the staff found it hilarious and my girlfriend at the time was at the other side of the gate and was like you left this!

That belt has so much sentimental value but it's so broken and falling apart but I still wear it to this day it's like a constant reminder of my life.
Anyway I got back on the plane and people was clapping I was so embarrassed.

I had a very similar experience Saturday morning. I was almost to work and I had stopped to pick up some breakfast. As I was walking into the place, I reached down to make sure that my Note was still in the holster and...... NOTHING WAS THERE! Instant panic. I am currently using an otterbox defender because of my need for a heavy duty case with a holster and the fact that my phone arrived so early, it was the only one I could lay my hands on immediately. I went back out to the car and there it lay just inside the door. When I got out, it had popped out of the holster. You can imagine my relief. This reminded me why I left otterbox. The case is pretty good but the belt clip is CRAP! My Beetle Pro is supposed to be delivered tomorrow. And not a moment too soon!

so glad you got it back. I would completely lose it if I left my N8 somewhere. not because of the dollar value, as substantial as that is, but because it is my life in my hand. *shudder*

Completely agree. It's why I don't wear anything without pockets. lol

Same here. Guess I'm going to have to start doing that check when I leave the potty.

or anywhere... and I kind of already do. there's a pocket for the phone and I normally tap that area to be sure. same for wallet there's also a place I keep my keys when not in the car and I normally tap that place too as a check. but I don't always do all of those consistently.

that's called a well-deserved panic attack. so glad it wasn't gone. what a nightmare that would have been.

I do this every time I go anywhere. Great habit to get into.
