LED control App

Does anyone know of an app or widget that will toggle the LED notification light on my Epic? I think it might have fried - it no longer lights up when I plug it in or when receiving messages. I am rooted FWIW running SRF 1.1, but this just started happening today (rooted months ago).

Use dialer code *#0*# (LCD Test)
Select LED

This will display Main and Sub tests for the LED. Epic will work with Red, Blue and Magenta.

I dropped my phone a while back and this broke the front facing camera & LED. (Sprint replaced display portion of phone for $35 to fix it.)

I don't think it's very common. If you want it to function, your best bet may be flashing back to stock and taking it to the Sprint store to have it repaired/replaced. I know that's what I would do if I was in that situation because I like the LED.

I have worked with LEDs of various types for 15 years, and I can say they are very robust! Hardly ever fail unless they push over their voltage limit. So I don't hink it is a common fault.

With that being said, I have heard that apps that use the camera flash LED fails from time to time, as they must push the voltage to the limit unlike a brief burst for a camera flash.
