LED light color today--multicolored yellow/green and also purplish...

I have previously seen only blue and red LED notifications. This morning I got a funky two-toned indicator, sickly green./yellow. Shortly after that I got a purple notification, which I cleared by CLEAR all notifcations. A few minutes later the LED showed it's usual solid BLUE color for a notification of email. Are all these funky colors a glitch? I have loaded nothing that I know of that would mess around with notification colors.

Now I'm thinking it's because I recently installed the android central app. The only notification on my phone just now was from your post via android central, and guess what--the LED was a sickly yellow-green again. I installed the app yesterday afternoon or evening, so the weird color coincides with the app notifications. I haven't found any documentation about anything but red and blue, as you stated.

I've seen it too.
When I got a notification from tap talk. Wich is what I use to read these forums. The icon for tap talk is orange. The led was also orange.
I've seen it twice know . The second time I had a few different notifications so not sure witch one it was for.
Maybe Samy made it to change colors if the application takes advantage of it.
Don't know for sure but I will keep an eye out and try to figure out what is making the orange notification.

Wait...what? You can get notifications with this app? How? I have the latest version and I see no setting for that and thought that was something they were still working on.

I never even thought to check what colors are available. WhatsApp gives me choice of colors.

Yes, I just now got that weird color notification LED and I can see on my notifications that it is Android Central again

Weird. Is anyone else getting notifications from the AC app? I get nothing and my phone is set to get notifications from the app. I want to know how to make this happen.

I'm getting too many from the ac app....they won't stop and I turned off all notifications and then I deleted the app and started fresh and still get tons of notifications

When I installed the app, it defaulted to providing the notification LED. Open the app, click the gear in upper right, Nofifications and enable the ones you want. I see no settings for vibrate or LED or sound, so I guess it's the LED light that gets enabled.

I see no notification section from the gear settings icon on the AC app. There are all sorts of other things, like Dark Mode which I use and love, but nothing for notifications. And my AC app is up to date too.

Ah...bingo. That info helped solve things! Turns out that there are two different apps for AC.

How are you getting GREEN for texts? Do you mean SMS? I get BLUE notifications for SMS.
