hard to believe they included an LED on the phone but forgot to implement it completely in ICS...
LIght Flow does help a lot but it still doesn't function fully..eg w/charging alert. You should get all the colors w/Light Flow. The LED itself should last for years....hopefully updates will make the LED operative...no reason why a 3rd party app should be necessary at all
