While skimming the AC article about Note 7 cases, a question popped into my head.
If Samsung can come up with a QWERTY cover for the Note 7 (which is really more like a bib or a speedo than a case), why can't they put together a similar bit of hardware with a couple of decent speakers in it?
Smartphone speaker pots (even the old Boomsounds) aren't very big, and DAC software/firmware can't require as much space as a physical keyboard, right? So why not?
Granted it would be a lame approach to modularity stacked up against something as elegant as the new Moto Z's, but still.
