I don't think its completely accurate. My mom and sister both got the purple blob guy on the not obtainable list last week.

If by "the purple blob guy" you mean Snorlax, I think you're right. I haven't seen them in the wild, but there's definitely been a few in gyms. Could be from the beta though, I suppose...

I got one that isnt on the list as I could see.... Its called Grimer.... unless its a ditto thats been misnamed....
